Charles E. Davidson, Ph.D.

Dr. Charles E. Davidson is Faculty at George Mason University where he specializes in the study of civil war, armed group behavior, demobilization and reintegration, and local peace processes. He is the Director of Research and Practice at the Center for Applied Peace Strategies at George Mason and is the former Executive Director of the Political Leadership Academy at the same institution. Currently, Dr. Davidson’s research and practice focuses on inter-ethnic conflict and armed group demobilization in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and South Sudan, and digital literacy and peacebuilding in Burundi.
